Summary of Functions:

  • Sets challenging goals and puts a top priority on getting reports and maintaining a consistent, high level of productivity to achieve business unit goals by timely financial statement preparation and timely budget preparation.
  • Oversees preparation of monthly corporate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Prepares financial statement variance analysis.Maintains corporate General Ledger.
  • Oversees preparation and distribution of corporate payroll for all VNA entities.Ensures proper payroll records are maintained.Ensures adherence to Corporate Policies.
  • Oversees preparation of annual corporate budget.Assists in preparation of summaries for senior management and board of director approval.
  • Manages all functions related to accounts payable.
  • Performs complex financial analysis including providing financial data and support to other VNA departments.
  • Prepares financial data for annual government, grant, and budget filings.
  • Coordinates all external audit activities and maintains corporate insurance policies.
  • Maintains a proficiency in the use of computers and applicable software (e.g., Excel, Word and MAS90).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelorís degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of related experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must write, speak and comprehend English to effectively communicate with patients, staff and others.
  • Must be able to hear normal conversation with or without electronic device assistance.
  • Must have visual acuity correctable to 20/30.
  • Must be able to sit and/or work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
